Don’t sweat it! We all encounter mistakes and disappointments at some point in our life. Although they may frustrate or sadden us, they also give us opportunities for learning and personal growth. Today we talked about how to accomplish this by finding the good, don’t be in a rush for a solution, and “be a goldfish” also known as let it go! If your child can raise $30 or more in donations tonight, they will earn the slime band and will get to spray slime at an ad coach on dash day!

During Thursday night's special meeting of the CCISD Board of Trustees, the district's tax rate was set & the budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 was adopted.

Our first Volunteer Orientation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 2:00 pm in
the Clements Parsons cafeteria (please enter through the breezeway). We will have
volunteer packets available for you at this time. Additionally, we will discuss volunteer expectations, go over the volunteer handbook and answer any questions you may have.
*Please note all volunteers must attend 1 volunteer orientation per school year.

Now through August 30, The 2024 Peanut Butter Bowl. Help the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs collect jars of peanut butter. There are two ways to give: 1) drop off jars of peanut butter to any CCISD campus or local business donation site or 2) use the QR code on the attached flyer to donate $2/jar. In 2023, CCHS won first place with 8,207 Jars. Help us get first place again and help fight hunger in Copperas Cove. All donations go to: My Brother's House & Baptist Benevolence Ministry.

Don't forget about our annual Spirit Spectacular tomorrow night! Admission is free, but there will be a raffle to support the band boosters as well as buckets to collect peanut butter for this year's Peanut Butter Bowl.
