The CCHS golf team and the Copperas Cove Golf Association worked together to clean up the Hills of Cove golf course. Today the Hills of Cove will be hosting a military appreciation tournament for all active-duty soldiers.
SC LEE vs. North Belton
Jordyn Barnett (7A)- She led the team in kills and had an momentum changing kill on an overpass from North Belton.
Hayden Hernandez (7B)- Hustled for every single ball, game changing serve, was a play maker the entire game
Jada Smith (8B)- Jada was dominate at the net offensive and defensively. She led the teams in blocks and kills.
Kadence Wilkins- She led the team in assists, helping push our 8A to the third set. She was aggressive with her defense in right front and back. She also had aggressive serves that set the other team out of system.
CCJHS vs Belton Middle School!
7A: The team came out strong, dominating the first set 25-6 and continuing their momentum to win the second set 25-7
7B: Started off with solid serving but struggled against Belton’s serves. Despite a reset in the second set Belton ultimately came out on top.
8B: Played with great energy, winning the first set 25-17 and securing the victory in the second set 25-22.
8A: It was rewarding to see everything come together for 8A. They took the first set 25-9 and finished strong with a 25-18 win in the second set.
Varsity Boys kicked off their season strong in Salado, finishing 5thwith a score of 356! Cooper Ferrell led the charge, securing 3rd place with a score of 75, while Adrian Dickson- Ramirez came in 5th with a score of 77. Gage Cunningham shot 98, and Deaven Reese came in at 106.
