During April, we are celebrating National Autism Acceptance Month. In Copperas Cove ISD, we work daily to ensure every student feels they belong and they have a safe environment to learn in.


April is the Month of the Military Child. In CCISD, all 11 campuses are Purple Star Designated campuses for the work they do to ensure a great educational experience for the almost 50% of students from military-connected families.


Congratulations to Christopher Orta , our next "Books and Beyond" Reader at Mae Stevens Early Learning Academy. Christopher has successfully reached his goal of reading 300 books at home and has earned his "I Love to Read" T-shirt. Students will be off on Monday, April 7th, for staff development. CCISD will then be closed April 18th-21st for the Easter holiday.
