Dear Williams Ledger Families,
As we approach the end of the semester, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking released STAAR tests on the following dates:
Tuesday, December 3rd 3rd, 4th, and 5th Released STAAR Reading Test
Tuesday, December 10th 3rd, 4th, and 5th Released STAAR Math Test
Thursday, December 12th 5th Grade Released STAAR Science Test
These testing days give our students the opportunity to “show what they know” and guide our instruction moving toward the official testing dates. Students will have all day to complete the assessment. Please help prepare your child by encouraging him/her to:
• Get plenty of rest before the tests.
• Eat a good breakfast.
• Arrive on time.
• Dress in layers to be comfortable during testing.
• Do their absolute best!
• Bring a healthy snack (we will provide a snack on official testing days)
In order to maintain a secure and quiet testing environment, we will be closing campus during lunch for all grade levels on the above dates. All noise and traffic in the campus hallways and common areas will be kept to a minimum. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions you may have. Thank you for your support this year. We look forward to celebrating our students’ success together!

Thanks to your kindness, we were able to provide 7 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need! We are truly thankful for the strong sense of community we have here and wish everyone a wonderful holiday!
CCISD will host its next Emergent Bilingual Program Cafe TOMORROW in the CCHS library. We hope to see you there!
Move on Up! will be hosting a Christmas Market in the CCHS Cafeteria NEXT Saturday! Ornaments are $5 or less, and this event is cash only. All proceeds go to the participating work-based programs.
We hope you'll come see some of the amazing work our students are doing.
Mrs. Fox's 3rd grade class has been learning about the Wampanoag Tribe and their proficiencies in hunting while with Mrs. Brock.
Cougar Cub families, we are excited to be hosting the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop again this year. Our student will have so much fun secretly shopping for Christmas gifts December 9-13th!
